    Hi Guy,

I would like to applied a tiered promo.

From $1.200 to $2,999 the customer will get a 5% discount.

From $3.000 the customer will get a 10% discount.

It could be ok to setup a total discount but the promo require to assign those promo only to certain items of the assortment.

Do you have an idea on how to setup it?

    Best regards,

    Pierre.

    Hi Pierre,

Can you give us one example to show what this tiered promotion based on prices looks like?

    Hello,
I created the following trade agreement for a customer:

But the "from to" is about the quantity not the price. Do you know how to setup AX in order to have the "from to" related to the price and not to the quantity?
Basically what I'm trying to do, it's a tiered promotion based on the prices, not on the quantities.
    Best regards,
    Pierre.

    Hi SHOXF,

    what is your intention?

Following example: We have a item ABC (the sales price (per piece) is 10 USD)

       1 to   1,000       10%  (Range A)

    1,001 to 10,000       12%  (Range B)

    10,001 to (unlimited)  14%  (Range C)

What should be the price if someone orders 15,000 pieces?

    Version A

    =========

    - 15,000 is Range C

    Apply this 14% to all pieces: (15,000*10 USD) - 14% = 150,000 - 21,000 = 129,000 (Line Amount)

    This means a "calculated" price per piece of 129,000 / 15,000 = 8.60 USD (10 USD  - 14%)

or did you even mean the following

    Version B

    =========

For the first 1,000 pieces use Range A, for the next 9,000 Range B and for the remaining 5,000 Range C

    First 1,000 pieces (     1- 1,000) 10% (1,000*10) - 10% =  10,000 -  1,000  =  9,000

    Next  9,000 pieces ( 1,001-10,000) 12% (9,000*10) - 12% =  90,000 - 10,800  = 79,200

    Next  5,000 pieces (10,001-15,000) 14% (5,000*10) - 14% =  50,000 -  7,000  = 43,000

LineAmount for all pieces in that case would be 131,200 (means a "calculated" price per peace of 131,200 / 15,000 = 8.746 USD

Can you please clarify your intention: Version A or Version B

    regards

    Douglas

No you do not have to have a trade agreement to manage the cost, it can come from the item record. If your TA is not called it is because the dimensions on your order line so not match the dimensions on the TA (or UOM etc.)

    Hi SHOXF,

I don't understand the question. Would you be able to rephrase it?

You sales pricing overlaps 1 to 10 and 1 to 100 it is trying to call 2 prices for the 1 to 10 range.

In your screenshot, AX says price search is active on the Color dimension only. It also says to check the Site and Warehouse dimensions. I think what it means is 'Don't set Site and Warehouse on your Trade agreement line'.

Can you create new trade agreement lines with only the Color dimension specified, post them and try again?
