can any one tell me the main difference between line discount, multi line discount and total discount through an example.
and how can i create discount slab for a item according to the quantity
for example i want to make a discount slap of xyz item on which i want to keep discount 10% at 1 to 1000 quantity. 12% for 1001 to 10000 quantity. and 14 % to more than 10000 quantity.

All the below selection depends upon the parameter selection.

Line discount: Activate trade agreement combinations for line discounts. These trade agreements can apply to an individual item or to an item line discount group. The trade agreements can also apply to all items combined with an individual customer, a customer line discount group, or all customers.

For example, this could be a discount of 10 percent on a group of items to all customers in a specific business sector.

Multiline discount: Activate trade agreement combinations for multiline discounts.These trade agreements can apply to an individual item and an item multiline discount group. The trade agreements can also apply to all items combined with an individual customer, a customer multiline discount group, or all customers.

For example, if a sales order exceeds a quantity of 10 on a specific group of items, the multiline discount is triggered.

Total discount: Activate trade agreement combinations for total discounts. The trade agreement combinations apply to all items on sales with an individual customer, a customer total discount group, or all customers.

For your scenario you can create price agreement journal. And you can put discount percentage below.

From your screen shot, I noticed that purchase price, 3rd row from quantity should be 1001, currently you have entered 10001, secondly, sales price row 2, from quantity should be 11. Correct this and test it

i have corrected all the option as you suggest. but the problem is trade agreement price is not pick auto and i check manage cost no price is show as active price according to trade agreement

In your screenshot, AX says price search is active on the Color dimension only. It also says to check the Site and Warehouse dimensions. I think what it means is 'Don't set Site and Warehouse on your Trade agreement line'.

Can you create new trade agreement lines with only the Color dimension specified, post them and try again?

You sales pricing overlaps 1 to 10 and 1 to 100 it is trying to call 2 prices for the 1 to 10 range.
