User Setup Form - Remove Buttons

When displaying the User Setup box on a form (right click - Setup) I want to be able to hide the button on the right hand side and leave the Reset (j) button only

Currently, users with access to the Setup option can use all the buttons. But we do not wih them to be able to Load, Save or Retrieve from User

Any Advice would be gratefully received

RE: User Setup Form - Remove Buttons

    Hi,

You should set security and privillage by customize form to separate access of group of users or users.

  • RE: User Setup Form - Remove Buttons

We want to give access to Support only.

But some users also need the load facility

This means I need to split access over two groups.

Unfortunately, this is not a standard form, and is shown under the Form Personalisation branch in the security tree.

But I can't find the individual buttons as objects.

Perhaps it is not possible .

It's just another form, therefore you can modify it as you like, if it's worth doing.

RE: AX2009 User Setup Form - Remove Buttons

    Hi Kasmcc100,

AX2009 has been a while ago for me. Using permissions you can define what is visible for a certain user group. However, I wonder why you would take away a feature that allows a user to save their favorite lay-out or multiple lay-outs and retrieve it when something got lost. When a user hits the Reset button by accident, you are not allowing them to correct their own mistake quickly?
