Hello
I am getting this error when I am trying to install Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013.
How do I rectify it?

please try to run installation setup as administrator.
also check event viewer for more detailed info on installation error.
What is reported in the log file, i am thinking you have not installed IIS on your computer. Please check if IIS is installed if not please install using Windows Features.
Then run the setup again as administrator.
Is IIS installed automatically once I start the navision setup?
Or do I have to download separate IIS download files .
I am still getting the same error
I don't think IIS is installed by NAV setup, try to install IIS separately using the below link

then try again the NAV setup.

first of all you should add IIS feature with the help of below link. It will clear how to add IIS feature.

After that try to install it as administrator credentials and follow the below link.

have you done it?
Try to install IIS from Prerequisite folder from installation DVD. Path : DVD\Prerequisite Components\IIS URL Rewrite Module\rewrite_2.0_rtw_x64. Once installed you need to restart hope then everything goes fine.
