Electronic ledger accounting statements for Mexico

Has anyone set up the Electronic ledger accounting statements for Mexico?  I have a few questions regarding the prerequisites:

  1. Set up main account parameters.
  2. Set up a Parent_Account to identify the level of account. - I don't understand the Parent_Account????
  3. Set up total accounts in all levels. - I don't understand this one
  4. Set up SAT account group.
  5. Create consolidation account group for SAT.
  6. Assign main account to SAT group and level accounts.
  7. Set up Method of payments and Bank accounts.
  8. Assign SAT method of payments.
  9. Assign SAT bank code in routing number field.

Please help.

    Hello Loretta Duff,

    Please have a look at the following site if you have not already done so

    docs.microsoft.com/.../latam-mex-electronic-ledger-accounting-statements

    If the information provided there is not sufficient for completing the configuration then I would suggest either consulting a local D365Fo expert for Mexico or trying to reach out to the MS support for some additional help. Personally, I feel that the first option might be the better one.
