SQL Server 2017 is not supported with Dynamics AX 2012. Please see the system requirements document (which you can find with a simple web search).

    Hi Nikolaos,

I read the system requirements document now. In another server I have SQL Server 2016 (is supported), but I'm getting the same issue. SQL 2016 do not worked with SSRS? Thanks!

SQL Server 2016 is supported with some AX2012 versions. What is your AX2012 version?

    Ok, that should work.

One more thing, I noticed two different versions in the error message:

Faulting application name: AxSetup.exe, version: 6.3.6000.151, time stamp: 0x59afc51e

Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.2.14393.2848, time stamp: 0x5c7f626e

Are you sure all your components are in the same version?

Maybe you can create a support request for Microsoft about this issue.
