RE: how to change the rounding difference tolerance in AX 2012?
hi
you can change the rounding difference tolerance by adjusting the settings in the General ledger parameters form. Here are the steps to change the rounding difference tolerance:
Navigate to General ledger > Setup > General ledger parameters.
In the General ledger parameters form, go to the Ledger tab.
Under the Rounding section, you'll see a field called "Rounding rule." This field determines how rounding differences are calculated in Dynamics AX.
Click the "Rounding rule" dropdown arrow and select the rounding rule that you want to use. The available options include None, Currency, and Line item.
Once you've selected a rounding rule, go to the "Rounding precision" field and enter the number of decimal places to use for rounding calculations. For example, if you enter 2, all rounding calculations will be rounded to the nearest 0.01.
In the "Rounding difference tolerance" field, enter the maximum amount of rounding difference that is allowed before the system generates a warning or error. For example, if you enter 0.10, the system will generate a warning or error if the rounding difference exceeds $0.10.
Click OK to save your changes.
By adjusting the rounding difference tolerance in the General ledger parameters form, you can control how rounding differences are calculated in Dynamics AX and ensure that your financial transactions are accurate and consistent.
