Insert the value in Data Provider class using COC

I want to add a field in base Report, the base class is called PurchPurchaseOrderDp, Field is from Table: TaxRegistration,
                                                                                                                                                          Field: RegistrationNo
I want to insert this into PurchPurchaseOrderTmp Table using Chain Of Command (COC), Can anyone help me with this?....

    I think initFromVendTable() is the right method to extend.
    _vendTable.registrationNumberTaxId() may give you the value you're looking for (it depends on your exact requirements).
