hi all
does anybody know what port needs to be opened on my windows server 2012 fire wall for me to be able to open up dynamics Nav development environment I also can’t connect my excel sheet to my SQL server database
when I turned off the firewall completely on my server everything worked when I turned it back on and I tried logging in to the development environment on my local computer it gave me an error could not locate the server
any help on which ports for excel and dynamics development that need to be opened would be appreciated

I have the same question (0)standard nav service port is port 7046. you can check that using the nav management tool.
sql server standard port is 1433.
