AIF Document Services... Field not included in Document Schema

Hi there,

I have created a document service based on a query which includes the table, DirPartyLocation.

When I generate the document service using the AIF wizard, the field 'IsPostalAddress' is not included in the document schema and the subsequent data contract class doesn't not contain the parameter method for this field.

Does anyone know what would cause this field to be missing? All the other fields are included in the schema. I noticed that in the foundation model, the visibility property of this fields is set to 'No', however I updated this to 'yes' but still got the same behaviour.

The query is using dynamics fields, therefore the 'IsPostalAddress' field is included in the query.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance,

Nick

    Hi Nick,

Have you been able to find a solution to this issue. I am facing the exact same problem.

    Thanks,

Nick and Jed, try adding a parm method for IsPostalAddress in the AxDirPartyLocation class.

I faced a similar problem and blogged it at janeteblake.wordpress.com/.../using-the-excel-add-in-to-update-custom-fields

    Good luck

the field property on the table is set to visible non, so it will disappear.

Perhaps you can override the initFieldAccessOverrides on the axdclass.

it is normally used for overrule allowedit only on create to overrule

    Thanks,

In my case the solution turned out to be simply refreshing the services. The second note on this MSDN page was my first clue:
