Check Alignment

How do you alignment check printing GP, as time goes on things are moving out of whack. I remember doing this once before, however, now I don't remember and cannot figure out how to get to it. When you use alignment form, it doesn't give you an option to actually change the alignment. This is beyond frustrating.

    Check Alignment
Is the issue that all the checks in the print run are mis-aligned the same?  If so, Method 1 of Judy's answer will work the same for checks.

If the issue is that the checks are creeping up/down as each check prints, this is usually caused by a modified check format where the page/section lengths were modified.  If you don't know the changes that were made, starting over with the unmodified version is the best starting point.

    Hi,

The alignment check allows you to make adjustments to the alignment manually.
The following article describes how to realign the fields in the 1099 reports so that the fields are put in the correct locations on preprinted forms in Payables Management in Microsoft Dynamics GP and in Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains 8.0.
