Visual Studio Code - Error

Posted on by 4
Hi,

We are using Business Central in the company and I am trying to learn AL to extend some pages in our Cloud Business Central.

I have BC essentials license, downloaded Visual Studio Code and installed AL extension. When I select create new project (using AL GO command), I get the following error despite authenticating the login. Could someone please help? I have been trying to find an answer to these but I cannot find anything relating to the errors I get. Seems like a pretty bad start to the developing journey.

Sometimes, clearing the cache can help. Delete the contents of the .alpackages folder and try downloading the symbols again.

Be sure to environment setting in the launch.json file.

    Hi,

Kindly check the  launch.json  file configuration, ensure the environment is not linked to Production and the the name should be similar to your cloud sandbox.

Clear the cache, check the sandbox name in the launch.json file to ensure you've selected the correct sandbox, and verify the .app file and the downloaded symbols. Perform these steps and feel free to share the output.
