CRM 2013 Failed to load within outlook

We have two users that have no problem logging in and using CRM 2013 via a web browser but when they try and use CRM 2013 via Outlook, whether 2010 or 2013, it says "Waiting for a page to be retrieved from CRM server......" whenever we try to use anything within sales, dashboards works fine . When we have researched this before we have seen all the posts suggesting that it is an issue regarding windows updates and changes to the Regedit would fix the issue.

We have 100+ users that use CRM 2013 and a mixture of office 2010 and 2013 that have no issues what so ever.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.CRM2013.JPG

    did you ever resolved this problem. We encounter the same error on a client machine.

    Error is:

    HandleException: Unhandled Exception: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Toegang geweigerd. (Uitzondering van HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))

    And we cannot load the CRM views inside Outlook 2013.

    This wasn't installed but when I downloaded it told me it was incompatible with the version of CRM 2013 that was installed.

    We’ve checked this and that update isn’t installed on the machine.

    We’ve also already tried that registry entry too.

    We’re really struggling with this one as we’ve got over 100 users all with virtually the same setup but not this issue.

    Hi Tom,

    This is a known bug caused by MS updates to Outlook. I can confirm that it can be resolved by the registry changes suggested in this thread: community.dynamics.com/.../254323

    I do not know if there was ever an official fix from Microsoft though so you may want to do a little further investigation.

    Hi Tom,

    Some things to check for these users---

    Is IE the default web browser?  Reset, look at authentication settings, and make sure CRM is added to trusted sites.

    Have you installed UR1 for CRM 2013?

    Remove all .tmp files in the temp directory.
