hi I am getting the above error when trying to post a simple Fixed asset journal.

The currency is there on the line, in the General tab of the line - currency code is also there. I have checked the code on the main account-it is there.

Can somebody please nudge me in the right direction? Thanks

Hi,

Is this a manual fixed asset journal you are creating, or coming from integration?

Can you particularly check the voucher number coming in the error, try to remove the currency and then add once again, try now.

Hi Paul, I have tried that too. Did not work. Hence I am asking here. Totally out of my wits :(

Hi,

The error is due to an imblance on the journal. Please see you have a corresponding exchange rate for your journal.

Please check your posting profile has been setup.

try deleting the journal line and adding it back.

hi Anisha,

Ok. so what I completely forgot to mention:

I had two Fixed Assets in that journal, one posted with no problems and I know that this is not about the line or a voucher, the system does not like that one fixed asset. Does this take us any closer?
