The attached is the error message I had after installation of Dynamics NAV 2016. We did not create a dedicated domain user for this application as it was posing challenges. Rather we used the normal NT Authority//Networkservice to run the installation.

This is the summary of the attached error:

'the server was not found at net.tcp://aainserver:7046/dynamics90/service''. Either the URL is incorrect or the server is currently not available.

I will be glad to have your assistance so this could be solved today.

Does this error occur in the server itself? If so check the Dynamics NAV service is up and running.

Yes please. I turned off the firewalls on both the server and client but that could not change the result.

I have enabled the Named Pipes and worked on the fire walls but yet the problem still persist

Is that client computer within AD(Active Directory) or out of network?

Please, first of all check if the NAV Service is running under services.msc

Also please send a screenshot of your Server Administration:

Hi Ghetz,

I tried to rerun the installation and but had an error when trying to connect the database to users. the error is below:

''Create failed for log in 'AFRICAAIN/NAVServer'. (Microsoft.Sqlserver.Smo)

Additional information:

an exception occured whille executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch.

(Microsoft.SqlSever.Connectioninfo)

The server principal AFRICAAIN\NAVServer' already exists. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 15025)

Have tried many times to attached screen shots but the I get error message. Do share with me if there is another way to get this done.
