Main account type for KPI statistics

Hey guys,

Reviewing Main account types - Finance | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn it is not clear what we should be using for KPI statistics main accounts, can you advise?

For example, we record the number of inpatient days under PDIN which is important for KPI calculations on P&L's, etc.
