Lookup of InventSerialID in movement journal

Hi Experts,

Greetings

I have got a scenario

The client raises a PO-go to PO line-Update registration-Opens form-generate Serial-Post it-Then the serial number gets as "registered" in that form

The user don't want to see the serial number which are in registered status in the " InventSerial" form- the explanation is that only after GRN is posted the serial number will become available and than the available serial number should be seen

Hence I put a filter on the invent Serial form to not show the registered one(This is customzied field which captures the status)

But the problem is when user uses a movement journal-->Go to InventSeria ID-->there user can see the serial id of registered status

Can someone throw me light how can i filter that lookup and in which class is called when the lookup is hit

Please help as it is urgent for user and i have no idea

Hi,

Can you elaborate in your customization? Did you create a status field on the serial numbers? Where and how did you put logic to update the status? Does the movement journal currently changes the status? What is the exact expected result?
