Hi,
I've been racking my brains trying to work out the best way to do this.
Basically I have field number 1 which has a value in that is set by the user, for example 12 days.
In the background (using hidden fields) i need to calculate this into minutes and fill in field number 2.
What is the best way of doing this? Do I need to create my field 1 as a calculated field? I'm drawing a complete blank even though I've done this kind of thing before!
Thanks in advance,
Becky
Hi Becky,
The first field would be a numeric, the second field would be calculated
Field1 x 24 (hours in a day) x 60 (minutes in an hour)
Let me know if you have any questions or need any additional help.
Thanks
Paul
Hi Rebecca.
The field one can be a Duration type. The user can type in 12 days but it will save in minutes on the database.
You can use a calculated field to show it in minutes, no logic is needed.
