overcome the problems of another order processing software?

Lets say there is a company that uses a processing software but it runs very slow, doesn't give all the information and can only handle one order per person in a day. So if the person wants to call back later on after already making the order to modify his order, the software wont allow a change to happen in the order. Is NAV a better alternative to such a software? Can it handle multiple orders or modification of the order per customer in a day? And is it fast and easy to use?

very sad situation for you. many available order processing /ERP systems are able to solve your issues. dynamics nav is one of them. whar you describe is the minimum requirement for such solutions.

please describe more details, what you need.

how many users would use the new system?

what would be your budget ?

what exactly are your business processes (sales, manufacturing, ...)?

NAV is absolutely capable of handling this. It can allow you to make changes to the open sales order, as well as make corrections to those shipments that are already posted, depending on the scenario.
