How to enable business events in Dynamics 365 Production (BusinessEventsParameters table)

Hi All,

We have business events configured and working in Dynamics 365 in a test environment. We recently deployed but weren't able to have it work in prod. After digging it looks like the parameters in the table BusinessEventsParameters needs to be updated :

Here are the parameters for the same table but in test for comparison:

Of course I'm not able to edit the values in the table. Does anyone know how I can update them in Prod?

Thanks!

    Hi Slim,

For production environment, You can create a support case to Microsoft.

The Business Events Parameters UI is available from Platform update 33 and later. The path for UI is System Admin -> Setup -> Business Events -> Business events parameters.

You can use the Restore default settings button on UI to enable the business events. Screen shot attached below. If you are below platform 33 you will have to raise a support ticket to get it enabled.

    Hello Slim Rouissi,

Have you activated the business events in the business events catalog?

There is a specific +activate button. Has that one been used?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

Thank you Blue Wang, that's what I ended up doing from LCS

@Keyur Thank you. The Prod environment was last updated with update 28 so it's far behind. I thought I was crazy at first, but now I more clear why the business events parameters and batch processing menu are missing.
