Installing the Marketing Solution Only App

Hi,

We have a tenant license for Dynamics 365 Marketing. However, in our development environment, I want to install the Marketing Solution Only App, and not the full Marketing application.

However, when I look to see what apps I have available to install, the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing Solution Only app isn't shown. I can only have the full Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing Application available.

Does anyone know how I can access the Solution Only App so I can deploy it to our dev environment?

We have updated documentation with screenshot on where to see the licenses based on this thread.

if you still dont see solution only license, please raise a support ticket

Hi Josh,

If you already have the license, please also check whether the license is enabled for your sign in user, then back to Apps to see whether the Solution Only app would appear.

A Marketing Solution-only license is included with all paid D365 Marketing licenses. Ensure to check the paid D365 Marketing license is in “Enabled’ status. If “Enabled” and you still do not see your “Dynamics 365 Marketing Solution Only” option, please raise a support ticket with Microsoft through your portal and request the issuance of a ‘Marketing only solution license’.

Thank you for the response.

This is what I have tried, however the only option I have is to install the full Marketing Application. There isn’t a separate row for “Dynamics 365 Marketing Solution Only”.

Hi Josh,

A solution-only license is included with all paid licenses and allows us to install the solution-only app on as many instances as needed.

Please go to http://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/ > Resources > Dynamics 365 apps to check whether there is an unconfigured application "Dynamics 365 Marketing - Solution Only" available.
