Using x++ to create order, no cost values

I have created a process using x++ to import and to create sales orders. I have created sales lines, BOMs, Routes, etc.. I have created costs for the variants and activated them. However I cannot find where, how, or why when I View sales order totals, under General Ledger, cost value is 0. I think it may be something with activating the cost? Not sure. Thanks for any help.

Thank you André for your help! I found that I was creating the cost correctly but was not getting it activated because I was not capturing the pricecalcid to active the price from the inventItemPriceSim table.

    Hi LBP,

If you have different fixed cost prices per configuration, you indeed need to activate the cost price first before it will be considered for postings.

    Hi André,

First question from me for you is if it works correctly when you create the orders manually or do you then still have the same behavior?

    1. Yes, costing works correctly outside the code I am trying to write for importing orders.

What is your inventory costing model for the items on the order?

    2. We use standard costing. I am not overly familiar of how this was setup or works as I was not really involved.

Do you already have on-hand quantity with a certain cost amount?

    3. We have on hand inventory, however as the order comes into the system it generates a new configuration. The  configuration is used to create and activate a new "cost" for the specific product being imported.

    Thanks.
