RE: Related Tab showing Duplicate Entity

For anyone else facing the same issue. Simply open the form you/your organisation are using in the chosen entity. In our case, it was the account entity - Open the form, on the left hand side, you will see a list of the common entities. Look for the duplicate entry, click on it and then click on Remove on the top ribbon. Save the form and then publish the changes.

You will need to refresh / clear your browser cache or log out/log back into your environment for the changes to take place.

    This should resolve the issue.

    Hope this helps!

RE: Related Tab showing Duplicate Entity

    Hi Jag,

This is caused due to the customization on entities contact or account by adding multiple fields and pointing it to the same entity and keeping the it to be displayed in plural form.

    Resolution:
Found the cause of the issue this happening due to the customization made on the contact entity and I also found it is doing the same on account as well.

So if you see below many to many and 1 to many relationships on the contact form fields and also many to many there are different custom field pointing to same entity twice.

Then if we open that field This was set to use plural name changing this to “do not display” and then I was not seeing “area of interest” twice or same with “area of study”

And the issue occurs because one is referring same related entity twice for two different schema name as you can see for example idea below
