Nurture E-Mail Hard-Bounces

Hi!

As stated in the MS documentation, hard-bounces are moved to a backend suppression list for 6 months. How would the process look like to remove those addresses from that backend list?

Thanks!

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Mario,

Here are some official references which may help you.

What does a high bounce rate mean for you as a sender?

Nya thanks as always!  I got one last question regarding E-Mail Harbounces and the global list in the backend of Dynamics 365 Marketing.

As hardbounced emails are regonized by the system and put on the back-end suppression list, it is now clear that the next time these specific addresses are targeted by a customer journey they wont get a mail since they are blocked. However, within the KPI´s they will still shine out as hardbounced mails.

Now my question, normally the microsoft sends out an alert if there are too many hardbounces. If they are still listed as hardbounces, although they are actually not send out, does this trigger the alert from microsoft?

    Thanks Mario

    RE: Nurture E-Mail Hard-Bounces

    Hi,

Hard bounced email addresses are collected and stored in the suppression list. The hard bounce portion of the suppression list is a global list and is shared between different customers that use the same infrastructure. The list stores cumulative information from various sources, making the list broad and reliable. (Ref: How the backend suppression list works)

So if you'd like to remove the contacts from the suppression list, you just need to adjust their email addresses.

But there is no way to remove the addresses from the list.
