hi,

I have a quick view form of Contact in the Lead entity. I have a lot of fields on the Form and not all of them have information for all the Contacts.

how do I hide the empty fields on the form, so I will not see them on the Lead Form?

Hi Tal. Why don't you create a Business Rule to run on all forms on Lead Entity to Hide Fields based on your conditions?

    Best Wishes, Raz

    Hi Tal,

I guess the only way you can do this is with java script.

I would grab the control within the quick view using the following JavaScript:

    Xrm.Page.getControl('[QuickViewName]_[QucikViewName]_[FieldName]')

So if we take the example of the default AccountQuickView placed on the contact form.

When inserting the Quick View give it the name of AccountQuickView, then to access to composite address field within you would need the following JS.

    Xrm.Page.getControl('AccountQuickView_AccountQuickView_account_address1_composite')

Once you have the control you should be able to check if it has a value or not, then you can show and hide based on your requirements.

Hope that helps, If you are unsure of the exact name of the field just press F12 and inspect the element to get the exact name.

    Thanks,

    Lloyd

Another option is to design your own quick view form using html web resource where you can check if value is not equal to null on then render that field.

    Thanks
