Advanced Personalization Real-Time Marketing Email Editor

Hello,

Does anyone know how to use a condition to check for a blank value using the advanced personalization function?

We would like to switch to the new Real Time Marketing Email Editor but are trying to find a solution t  Dynamically use a Preferred Name filed if this is not blank otherwise use First Name.

This was previously working in the Outbound email editor but we cannot seem to use the code anymore to do this in the new Real Time Editor.

Thank you

    Hi,

The function of Real Time Marketing Email still needs us to explore, but at present I have not found a tutorial on how to use condition statements.

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,

    Thanks for the response Frank

I am seeing this conditional option under advanced personalization. I however cannot find any documentation on this.

I am unsure why the freemarker style code does not work in this new editor as seems a key capability.  Perhaps this is being transitioned to a different language.

    Hi,

In personalization, only data field can be selected as the data source, and there is no way to use Conditional statements.
