Capturing Count of records, Start Date Time and End Date time of an Export from Data Entity in D365 FO

I have a requirement to capture the time taken for some data entities to export files from D365 to Excel/3rdParty System for example.
Consider a scenario where I have Purchase Order Header and Purchase Order Line data entities which export data to 3rd Party system.
I need to create another data entity which does the below actions.

Every time Purchase Order header or Line data entity is run, I would like to capture information and time stamp on how many records were exported,From Date time and To Date time stamp of time it took to export the data. Time when the export process started.

How can I capture this information to a view or a form from a data entity like Purchase order header or line when it is run.

I have the same question (0)

For data management projects, you already have this information in the execution history ("View historical runs") of the project. If you want to additionally store this information in another table, just create an event handler for the current history table, and copy the data that you need into your own table.

For OData I'm not sure if and how your requirement would be possible to achieve.

Which one do you need, data management or OData?

Thanks a lot for your suggestions, did some research on the execution history part and went by this approach it helps.
