Hi,

We have dynamics 365 cloud deployment in azure. Its working fine with our office 365 login.

Its bit costly in azure server.

I just want to know how you keep your development server for any internal development or demo purposes.

Are you keeping it in offline 365.

Could you give me an overview how you keep this servers for your internal use.

    Hi Mohamed,

    You can download a VM to run it locally. From this machine you can connect to VSO. This would save you from Azure credits. You need to have client machines with sufficient hardware resources to run the VM. I'm using a laptop with external SSD where the VM runs. 6th gen i7 processor and 16GB memory. 10GB memory and 4 cores are assigned to the VM using Hyper-V which runs OK for my purpose. If you need more performance, you have to invest in more memory as this seems to be my main bottleneck executing builds.

    Also make sure you don't pay more for Azure than necessary - switch of the machine if it's not used (so you won't be charge for compute resources), use the right VM size, disable storage geo-replication if not needed), consider using DevTest labs (so you don't pay for OS) and so on.

    Hi,

    I already have downloaded and installed VM on one machine and i also setup account its working fine. But now i installed same VM on another machine but i am not able to login and getting error "You can't login with currrent credentials".

    Thanks Martin i forgot to add user in admin provisioning tool. Its working now.
