I created a new table (domension) which will eventually be joined with the "Drillthrough Revenue Details" dimension of the analysis cubes. I believe the latter is a built-in dimension when the GP data cubes are deployed. This dimension also integrates with the "Master Date" dimension, so when I query select a certain date (e.g. month), only revenue from that date will be selected.
I want to integrate the new table with the "Master Date" dimension as well. There is a date field in this new table. I have a Power BI report which has a slicer which contains the year of the "Master Date" dimension. I also have 2 table visualizations, one displays the data from "Drillthrough Revenue Details" and the other data from my new dimension. When I change the date in the slicer, the table with the "Drillthrough Revenue Details" data changes accordingly (e.g. only displays data from the chosen date). However the one with my new dimension doesn't change. It displays all the records (e.g. it ignres the date selected).
I was wondeirng how do I integrate existing dimensions in the cubes with my new table?
