I just got this error while trying to use the Aif InvoiceJournal service.

 

It was working.  Now I get this very useless error message.

 

There is nothing in the Exceptions screen in Ax.

 

There is nothing in the server's event viewer.

 

Any idea what could cause this, or how I can track down the cause?

    Hi Chad

    I have the exact same situation although on a customized service.

    I think the problem is on the outside of AX in the WCF "engine" - for some reason it cannot receive and transport the message you return. I have a situation where we return a str without defining a string size.

    You say it was working and now it doesn't. Could it be that you added a field as a str without defining a string length? Or did you change any settings in WCF?

    Install WCF storm and verify the wsdl and the schema.

    I guessing the customize document check box is marked on the inbound port, and it is disabling some of the fields from schema.
