Replacement for OOB dialogs in Unified Interface

Posted on by 17,074

Hi All,

We are having an OOB dialog where in we create "n" number of records based on a response of a field (Number of Resources) in the dialog. We are using custom workflow assembly in the OOB dialog to achieve the same. How can we replace the same in Unified Interface?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Nithya, you can embed a canvas app on a form in Dynamics 365 to collect your responses and depending on what you want to do with the data, use Power Automate Flows to do what you want with the data.

    Hi Paul,

I have seen this link before and understand we should replace with business process flows/task flows/ canvas apps.

But will it be possible to run a process against any of the above like dialog?

My requirement is to run a custom workflow with input parameters as the responses of the fields from the dialog.

Hi, Dialogs have been deprecated. You should reproduce them using Business Process Flows or Canvas Apps.
