SSRS report, unable to run due to temp table

ReportReport
Posted on by 107

I have moved report form one server to another and the report deployed successfully.

But when i run the report the following error comes.

Cannot create a record in tmpTable

The sql database has issued an error.

Sql error description : invalid object name tmpTable.

Then there is sql query.

When i make the table as Regular report runs( obviously with repeated data as table is not flushed)

I synchronized the table. Redployed the report. But it dosnt work when table type is Temp/inMemory

Plus i dont have visual studio in the server where report is moved.

Please help

Can you share your code what you have written and share the screenshot of the Temp table properties?

    Hi AnkurBh,

Is your report based on a Dynamics AX Query or a DataProvider class?

If you're using a DataProvider class, can you tell us which class are you extending ?

    Regards

    FX

Do you want the whole code of RDP class?

Report is running fine in the server  on which i created the report

I am using RDP based class. And passing querry attribute through srsqueryattribute.

The report is working fine in one instance.

The table should be TempDB, not InMemory. Change the Table type property.

Also, I assume you have the proper security rights for that table (to write to).

I am working as System Admin user so i guess i have security rights.

And i have tried with both TempDB and inMemory properties

Have you given "Delete" rights to the temp table? Secondly are getting any error? or Just blank report?
