I have created some field mapping from Account to Contact records so that when I add a contact the address from the Account is mapped to the contact record. I need to import many contacts to existing accounts and need to have the addresses map from what is on the account record when I import. How can this be achieved?
Am I reading this correctly?
On import of Contact - update the Contact Address with the Address from the Account (account listed on the contact).
If that's the case, sounds like Address is a lookup on the Contact). You could do a workflow - on create or update of an contact (update field wouldl be Account) then update the Address with the Parent Account's address.
