Inventory Adjustment/fixing using Advance warehousing configurations

We need to move an inventory from an existing company to another newly formed company and we are doing so using 'Advance Warehousing Configurations.'

Tried to fix/ adjust inventory using whse. Physical Inventory journal.

Preparing an excel file to be imported as a package and applied in whse. Journal Lines table.

Trying to process/register the applied whse. Journal lines in whse. item Journal and doing so we have a message appearing as mentioned below!

Also tried registering manual journal lines and was successfully registered.

Tried to import and apply an excel file package including "To bin code" in whse . Journal Lines table but came up with the same message as mentioned above while posting/registering the whse. Journal lines in whse. item Journal.

Looking for help on this!

Thanks

    Hello,

If you do not get further traction from the community, you may want to raise it via your partner or CSP to Microsoft.

    Thanks.

My recommendation will be that you should use the Item journal when you first establish your inventory in the new company and not the physical inventory journal.

It is easier to import transactions into the item journal.

    Hello,

If you are using Advanced Warehousing then I recommend using a Warehouse Item Journal to record the initial Inventory. After you register the entries you can run the Item Journal/Actions/Functions/Calculate Warehouse Adjustments. I am using the Warehouse Item Journal since you are using Advanced Warehouse and that you are using Bins.

    Thanks,

    Steve
