Customize a list view

I am trying to add a new view to a /sub list/ within the Accounts section of the CRM.  When I go into Accounts, I am able to click over to the CHILD Accounts.  Within this area, I would like to customize a list view on what to see in my CHILD accounts.  I know how to customize a view in the modules themselves but am not finding how to customize in this sub area.
