Multi Currency Query

Posted on by 125
Hello,

We use Dynamics 365 F & O at the company where I work.  Its setup for multi-currency and we operated across 3 legal entities: GBP // USD // EUR.  GBP is the base currency.

I'm a D365 newbie and tasked with extracting data from sales order lines to work out the margin %.

My question is, is the Unit Price and Cost Price in the Sales Line always the base currency or if I switch to the USA Company will the prices on the screen be in USD?

Thanks,

Michael

    Hi,
This should be related to the currency set up by your legal entity. You can refer to this official documentation: Set up currencies and conversions - Training | Microsoft LearnThis article introduces how to identify and configure acceptable currencies for the legal entity. You can configure exchange rates to convert between different currencies.

    Best regards,
    Kevin
