Table Configure error from AX 2012 to CRM 11 using CMR Connector

Hi everyone,

I need the information for following task:

When I configure the EcoResProduct table from AX 2012 to CRM 11 through CRM connector I getting error the below error

''Value cannot be Null" and

"Parameter name ' ' Type" these two error line I getting when configuring EcoResProduct Table for AX 2012 to CRM Integration.

Plz let me know anyone about this error and if have any document for the above explained process that one also send me...........

    I'll need more information to help you figure out what is going on.  When you say you "configured" this integration are you saying that you were able to get the AX configuration utility pointed at a service that represents this table and generate the configuration for that service?  Or were you not able to get to the point of creating a map for the new service within the Connector client?

    Are you past that point and now you are receiving this error when trying to run the map?

    Hi guys,
    I too am facing the same issue while configuring the connector after refreshing the services.(AX 2012 R3)
    Error : Value cannot be null
    Parameter name :type
    Also can someone let me know how can I get a custom field in AX flow in the connector ,I have added the field in AX custtable and have refreshed the "DynamicsConnectorDefaultService" also ,but it is not showing up in the Configuration Maps.
    Also on activating the map the records are not populating in the AX system.

    You will need to re-run the ConnectorHelper class in AX 2012 R3 to get the new field to appear on the ConCustomerOrgService.  Then you will need to re-run the AX configuration utility inside of Connector on the AX adapter settings page for your existing integration.  Then close the Connector client, re-start the Connector service, and re-open the client.  The new fields should now appear on the maps.

    Thanks Chris ,

    I have running the ConnectorHelper class which is taking too much time ,however will the error "Error : Value cannot be null"  be solved after running the connectorhelper class ? I have checked the error log and it has Itemid is not a field in invent table and one more log has something related to "unitofmeasure".

    Hi There,

    I know this thread is quite old, but I was wondering if you ever reached a solution?  I have the exact same problem, and even though I have logging for the AX 2012 Configuration utility set to 4(verbose) nothing substantial is reported.

    After I refreshed the service in AX and it's running properly.  When I go into the Connector application and select "Configure Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012", click "Refresh" and then click "Configure" I get the error.

    I was curious as to if you ever were able to get around it?
