Hi everyone,
Work Order products get converted to Customer Asset when certain conditions are fulfilled (Line status, work order status, convert to customer asset option etc.), which works fine for me. However, in case when I add a Work Order Product, say "Alarm" with quantity 5, only one customer asset for alarm is created currently, however, all 5 of them should be converted to customer assets, right?
Is there any settings or work around to resolve this? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Miloni

Today you need to add one work order product line with a QTY of 1 for each that you would like converted into an asset. I would suggest adding a business rule for your users to check if a work order product's product is set to "convert to asset" to only allow a qty of one.
Definitely a great idea to evolve this natively in the product though! I suggest raising the idea on the ideas portal! -

I have the exact same issue, I'm surprised Microsoft haven't put in an option by default to create individual assets.
Would love to know this 'custom code / plug-in' and how to implement it.
Out of the box, this isn’t the intended functionality. It can be accomplished with some custom code / plug-in or possibly Microsoft Flow.
