Contact information of Microsoft Business Solution Head

Hi

Our Company policy to  build a database on our vendors. As Microsoft is a important vendor to us, we need to know details of various people over and above the people in India related with Microsoft Dynamics Navision worldwide.

 

In case anybody has email id and name of overall head of Microsoft Business Solution along with email ids and names of all the concerned peoples under them then please provide us.

 

The above information will help us to have better association with Microsoft for mutual benefit.

    a) I suggest you to contact the Microsoft headquarter of your country. They can surely help you on finding the right partner.

    b) Microsoft releases patches (cumulative updates) every month for its supported line of NAV products. CU can be installed quite easily, they can be platform updates or application updates. Application updates (object's modifications) must be evaluated if you have customized objects.

    c) Yes, you can continue to work with NAV 2009. This is an unsupported version now, so no more fixes/cumulative updates, but you can work with this version as you want. An upgrade to the last release is always suggested if you want to hava a release that is officially supported by Microsoft and if you want the latest technology (for example extensions).

    Hi,

    We do agree with you that we should not enquire for this information on blog. We require contact information of Microsoft Navision technical developer because

    a) We have few requirement which our current support partner cannot deliver.

    b) We would like to make few representation with Microsoft Navision Technical Head wherever in the world to develop easy up gradation of new versions over existing version and deployment new NAV patches time to time release by Microsoft for NAV without help of support partner.  We expect that Microsoft technical team should develop technology which can deploy new patches and version upgrading by just following simple step without help of support partners. Upgrading of version with the help of support partner increases overall cost of maintaining Microsoft Navision apart from cost  renewal of BREP yearly.

    c) Whether we can continue using current version of NAV 2009? Is there any disadvantage for not upgrading NAV 2009 to NAV 2016 if so then please explain.
