Hi

I am an experienced .Net developer looking to get into AX development. I have been surprised at the lack of tutorials online to get an experienced developer started.

Would anyone be so kind to point me in the right direction?

    Hi richierirch79,

    There are lots of AX tutorial online to help you to get started with Development in X++ but it would be best if you start with MorphxIT which will gives you introduction about Morphx IDE and programming concepts of X++.

    There are other important documents as well to get grip on AX Development like Inside Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, MSDAX Cookbook 2012, Technet website. 

    you can also get some fruitful knowledge of AX on my blog as well mfmujahidmim.wordpress.com

    MorphXIT is good but with each product iteration becoming more and more obsolete. From someone with a similar background, I would advise you to go and find a partner/customer who would like to harness your skill set and give you the opportunity to gain access to a DEV environment of AX.

    Only then will you be able to really work through the numerous books and training materials.
