Page action not visible for a user

Hello

I use Microsoft Nav 9.0, I need to provide access to a user to the page Account Schedule Names (103) and Acc. Schedule Overview (490). I followed the followed steps but the user still cannot see the Page action on her Role center page.

1-I created a new permissions set and recorded the accesses to these pages in include execution access to them and read only access to its related tables.

2-I added the permission set to the user

3-I added a Page Action on the Role Center Page associated to the profile the user uses. From the development application I run the page and I see the action but when the user opens its client interface it does not show. In this case I modified the page 9003. For the action I modified the field RunObject, I even compare the other fields with a current visible action for the user.

4-For testing purposes I only changed the RunObject property of the action for a Report associated to another visible action and the new one was shown in the client interface for the user, I assume because of that that it's something related to the user permissions associated to page Account Schedule Names (103)

Thank you in advance for any support.

Enediel

Try to customize the ribbon and see if you can add it. If you can add and use the action, it is not a permission issue.

    Thank you for your answer

1-I assigned a separated profile for this user, with a Role Center ID = 9003

    2-I manually called the Nav client "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\90\RoleTailored Client\Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client.exe" -configure -profile:"ProfileName".

3-From Departments/Financial Management/General Ledger/Report and Analysis\Analisys & Reporting\Account Schedules I right clicked over it and selected "Add to Action on Role Center Ribbon"

4-I'm able to see the option on the ribbon as a super user. But when the user open the interface she does not see that option on the top of the menu.

Under her user it does not show the option "Account Schedules" under Departments/Financial Management/General Ledger/Report and Analysis\Analisys & Reporting

    Thank you for your support.

I assigned to my user her profile and in my ribbon I see the action, what I need to understand in the security architecture what else I should check to give her permission to it, I created a permissions set including  access to the page Account Schedule Names (103) and assigned that permission set to her, it was not enough

    Thank you in advance

Check if the user can access the page directly.

Also try to remove the record from Profile Metadata

    Thank you for your answer.

1-I tried to use the search on the top right corner of her Nav client and the page is unreachable, even if it was included in one Permissions Set added to the user. I miss something on this point

2-How I could access the profile metadata?

Searching on Internet I found the page

    http://www.waldo.be/2013/04/01/pre-configuration-in-nav2013-profile-metadata/

it shows like an interface inside Nav for Profile Metadata but I cannot reach it in Nav 9.0

    Thank you for your support.

The Account Schedule Names page is accessible by search. If you can't search it, you have permission issue. Don't worry about profile metadata yet ( you can access from Development environment ).

When creating new permission using super user, there is a record button on the ribbon. Click the record and go through the Account Schedules process. Once you are done recording, add read permission to related tables.

Hopefully you get enough permission to access it.

Thank you for you last answer, that was exactly the problem, the recording permissions available in the actions while editing a Permission Set is incomplete, you have to Open the development environment and search for other objects permissions required
