Requisition Worksheet trigger re-order point

Posted on by 5

Hi,

Currently our Requisition Worksheet is taking all future consumptions into account when usingthe re-order quantity.

For all our items with a Fixed Re-order quantity, we would like to have a purchase requisition at the moment the re-order point has been reach.

Ex 1.: I have 500 items A on stock today, production planned according to NAV on D+8 for 300 pieces of Item B (which consumes 300pc of item A). Re-order point = 250, re-order quantity = 500. NAV will propose today to buy for D+8 500 pc of item A. I don't  want to have this proposal in my Worksheet, unless the re-order point has actually been reached…

Is it possible to set-it up in standard NAV?

many thanks

Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan,

Please refer to the Design Details - Planning Parameters link below. Play around with the different periods, and running the req worksheet till you get the results you would like. This helped us out to as understanding whats happening with all the different settings can become pretty confusing.

If this helps please mark the answer as verified.

    Thanks!

How did you run the Calculate Plan ? If you only want to run based on today's stock, you can just put the ending date as today.
