Management Reporter, scheduled publishing of financial reports

Hi,

Has anyone encountered interruptions during the publishing of scheduled reports in Mgt reporter?

Is there a way to ensure it gets published or re-generated when the interruption is resolved?

We are looking into setting up a High Availability server (2 SQLs; when 1 is down, the other will be up... *not my forte; our SQL DB admins are all over it) and we have tested and it is ok on the GP side.

I am just concerned what happens if the Mgt reporter is scheduled to publish reports and the connection gets interrupted.

Has anyone tried this? or has an experience on this?

Any insights will be highly appreciated.

Hi Elena,

If a scheduled report fails, you'd need to manually run it or wait until the next scheduled run time. The scheduled report won't automatically recover if it fails.
