Hi,

I've just bought Visio 2013 Pro so that I can use the reverse engineering tool in AX 2012 R2 only to find out that Visio 2013 doesn't work.

Please can someone tell me if there is a workaround for this problem or am I licensed to degrade my 2013 licence to 2010 Pro as 2010 Pro is no longer available to buy.

    Sorry, I need Visio 2010 premium, not Pro as mentioned above.

    Hi Rick,

    As there are some changes in Visio 2013 which depreciated some base components, reverse engineering used, there is no workaround for AX.

    You have to use Visio 2010. I don't think it is allowed to use Visio 2010 when you have bought Visio 2013. I'm pretty sure the license code of Visio 2013 will not work in Visio 2010.
