Where are the documents held that are uploaded to a field with Data Type = File ?

Hi everyone

I have a field that has the Data Type of File to which I upload various .DOC and .PDF documents.

I would like to get an overview of which Contacts have something in this field (I'll probably use something like Power BI for this), but firstly I need to know where the .DOC and .PDF files are stored. I've taken a look around the web and can see that such files are stored in the /File/ portion of our environment, but I don't know exactly where that is and how to access it.

Could anyone please help?
