    Hi Ludwig,

Thank you for your link, however, please let me explain my case in more details:

    - I have 2 warehouse: Finished Goods Warehouse and On the way warehouse.

    - When the Item is purchased - > will be posted in On the way warehouse, after that, transfer the item into Finished Good Warehouse. Basically, the quantity for on the way warehouse is nil each month end. However, since we using Weight Average in Site level, AX recalculate the financial value for each warehouse and lead to the current situation.

Is there some way to adjust the financial value for On the way warehouse in my case? We already run the closing for inventory.

    Thank you so much,

    Hi,

Can you test whether posting a counting journal with a quantity of 0 in the warehouse affected resolved the issue?

    Best regards,

    Hi Ludwig,

When i created a counting entry, there is no GL account posted - i guess it will be fine, however, i discovered other issue. One on the way warehouse has the quantity >0, but financial value is negative (let say: quantity is 50 but financial value is -9000).

I would very appreciate if you could advice the solution for the current cases.

    Thank you so much,

    Hi Thu Ngo,

Have you tried adjusting the negative value through the inventory closing and adjustment form? Once you have run an inventory close you should be able to select the on-Hand adjustment and then be able to adjust the amount back to zero.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Thu,

If you have financial inventory only to SITE level – it is normal situation to have 0 Qty and financial amounts when run inventory value report on Warehouse level. This is related with the logic of inventory value calculation.

System calculates and corrects inventory cost of shipments only to  the level of financial inventory dimension (site, warehouse, batch etc).

    Hi Anton,

Yes, i think this come from our initial set up (only site) lead to this problem.

Now, we faced with the issue when listed item in warehouse level:

    - Quantity is nil but financial value >0.

    - Quantity >0 but financial value <0.

Do you have any suggestion to re-correct the issue?

    Thank you so much,

    Hi Thu,

    My proposals are:

    - Explain to the customer the logic behind numbers in the report

    - Make a separate report / modify standard OLAP (if used) to calculates inventory value using cost from SITE level.

    Best regards,

    Hi Anton,

So in short, there is no possible way to adjust the value without customize a new report?

    Best regards,
