Email Template is not uploading

Hello Guys ,

I have created an html email template document and trying to upload this template to D365 so that it will appear in workflow dropdown and i will use it with my custom workflow. The issue is after browsing when i am uploading this template , progress bar starts but nothing appeared in "html body of the email message " tab. also it is not giving any error.

How to upload email; template ?, please see the screenshot below and advise.

First Just check your HTML file again (Tags, Syntax, etc ).

for the safe side, just clear browser cookies first try to upload again, if not succeeded try with a different browser too.

Hello Amith,

I believe nothing wrong with HTML file as , i tried uploading same file on production environment and its working there, i am not sure what is the issue here on Testing environment.

HTML file contains the following code:

<html>

<body>

<font face="calibri">

<p>

%message%

</html>

</body>

</font>

</p>

Hi Sachin,

Can you Make sure you have the System Administrator security role or equivalent permissions before you upload template and clear you usage data as well from user option.

Hi Sachin Gupta,

Have you tried the upload in a different environment and did it work there?

I just tested a simple file upload from one of the Contoso environments and the upload worked in my case.

Can you check if you can upload the attached file to check whether this works in general?

Hello Junaid , As advised i have provides Sys Admin role and clear usage data but still the same issue. it works with my production environment but not with testing one. Any other suggestion ?

Hello Ludwig, Yes i have tried this upload with production environment and it works fine there . you template also i have tested in both environment but again it works for production but not in testing environment. Please advise

Is the testing environment a Tier-1 environment or a Tier-2 environment?

Hello guys thank you so much for all your help , Some how now i am managed to upload email template on test environment. i dont know how it worked exactly, but after certificate renewal last week on the server i am able to upload the template now.

I have a quick question now , I have my email html template which is showing some dynamic values like Date/Time, Company , event by using place holderin HTML document.

i want to to display document record link in the email html document, do we have any existing place holder for the same or different process.

Please advise. below is my email template

Microsoft Dynamics AX alert details:

Date/Time: %occurred%
For: %for%
Company: %company%
Event: %subject%
