Purchase Order - PO not confirmed.. Stays in waiting...

When a PO is confirmed, it neither enables the PO Confirmation journal nor changes the PO status form Approved to Confirmed. Furthermore, the Job Status shows it in “Waiting” in Confirmation History in Proc. And Sourcing Inquiries. As a result, it is hindering to move ahead for Product receipt and further process.

We are using Dynamics AX 2012 R2 with CU7

    u can take a shot to run the Tutorial_WorkflowProcessor from. to see workflow states. just hit on start button.

    since it is at the time of confirming the PO, I wonder why the tutorial_workflow needs to be run.

    Anyways, I don't have a solution.

    Hi Abubaker,

    If the status remains on waiting, probably the option to process it via the batch was selected. You have to check if a batch job for the PO confirmation exists with the status Waiting. Then try to find out if the batch server itself is active or maybe you have to assign a batch group to the batch server.
