How to add an item to the menu

Hello!!

I am trying to add a form that I have created in C # to Dynamics GP, I have seen a bit of how to do this with visual studio tools, and so far I have managed to make the form load when I open Dynamics GP, but what I want to be able to add it to the main menu. If anyone has any ideas on how to do this, it would be very helpful.

Here I show you a class that automatically generates the project, and it is where I must add everything to load it in Dynamics GP:

Are you using Visual Studio Integration Toolkit from Winthrop Development Consultants?

No, I'm using the SDK of a video I've seen on YouTube, I don't know if it's going to bethe same.

The Visual Studio Integration Toolkit is the standard way to add menu items. It is a free tool. I do not believe there is a way to do this without it or without doing it in Dexterity.

    Hi

    Richard is correct.

Visual Studio Integration Toolkit (formally known as Menus for Visual Studio Tools) is the only method to add menus to the application navigation unless you are going to write your own Dexterity dictionary to achieve this.

VSIT also exposes over 200 "Dexterity only" functions to Visual Studio Tools developers.

Well, I'm using Winthrop, but within your website I can't find a documentation or anything that allows me to know the functions.

Did you look in the user guide?

It is available from the download area on the website and installed with the toolkit when you install the software.

You can also see them with Intellisense inside Visual Studio.

    Regards

    From www.winthropdc.com/products_VSIT.htm

    • Visual Studio Integration Toolkit for Microsoft Dynamics GP

Note: The manual is included with the installer, but is also available as a separate download.
