Hi Olivia Lambert,
The customer groups are shown in some report but I do not know a starndard report that shows the classification groups.
You could build a cube based report if required.
What is it that you want to analyze?
Best regards,
Ludwig
Thanks for your reply. I just would like to know standard report list where these fields are indicated, how can I find that out? thanks in advance
The customer group field is more a set of defaults field values so that when you attach a new customer it inherits those fields which saves time and reduces error, A customer group, groups customers that have common properties, such as: terms of payment, settle period, ledger posting table for inventory transactions.
The useful side benefit is that such a field can be useful for inquiry, filtering and reporting. However it is not a general report parameter. You can link it to a financial dimension and then use it in MR for example, or there are many places when you could add that field via an advanced query set up.
You can apply the customer classifications for sales order picking. In the Release sales order picking form, you can filter records to pick specific sales orders to be released. You can also apply the customer classification as sorting criteria. You have an item that is in short supply and you have several sales orders. Therefore, you cannot complete the orders for all customers. You use the Release sales order picking job to select the customers whose sales orders you want to release. You determine the picking based on the customer classification groups that you defined in the Customer classification groups form."
