Control selectable fields from dynamic Content Assist

Posted on by 5

Is it possible to control the dynamic content fields available to users creating emails in the Marketing tool? Our users see a large number of available fields to select but many of those fields are not used by our institution. Can these unused fields be masked or hidden somehow, and if so, how?

    Hi SchlothauerR,

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to hide the fields in dynamic content.

You can only add the entities into the drop-down list of the dynamic content from Settings > Dataset configuration.

However, all of the fields will be shown after the addition.

Although they cannot be hidden, they can be searched with matching lookups, so that the frequently used fields can be found quickly.

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,
